Amazon has announced a new adult-animated anthology series titled “Secret Level”, which will be available on Prime Video. The series will feature original stories set within the worlds of several popular video games.
“Secret Level” comprises 15 episodes, showcasing both new games and classics like “PAC-MAN” and “Dungeons & Dragons”.
Set to premiere on Dec. 10, the series is a collaborative effort between Amazon MGM Studios and Blur Studio, the animation powerhouse known for Netflix’s animated anthology “Love, Death + Robots”.
The games that have inspired the 15 episodes include: “Armored Core”, “Concord”, “Crossfire”, “Dungeons & Dragons”, “Exodus”, “Honor of Kings”, “Mega Man”, “New World: Aeternum”, “PAC-MAN”, PlayStation (featuring various PlayStation Studios entities), “Sifu”, “Spelunky”, “The Outer Worlds”, “Unreal Tournament”, and “Warhammer 40,000”.
The announcement was made during the Gamescom opening night global livestream on Tuesday.
