Brex has officially opened its new Seattle office as part of its plan to double its workforce in the city over the coming year.
The San Francisco-based fintech has approximately 60 employees in Seattle, as per the company’s last update in June.
The newly established office is situated in the Metropolitan Park West Tower, conveniently located just off Interstate-5 near downtown Seattle.
Focused on providing a corporate credit card and spending management software, Brex was valued at over $12 billion in 2022. The company laid off 20% of its staff earlier this year and experienced the departure of two key executives.
Brex President Karandeep Anand and CTO James Reggio both reside in the Seattle area.
Brex is among several companies maintaining satellite engineering offices in the Seattle region.
