Season Two of “Andor” Set to Premiere on Disney+ in April

Star Wars enthusiasts have been eagerly anticipating the announcement of when they can view the second and concluding season of Andor. During the D23 Brazil fan expo, Lucasfilm disclosed that the Rogue One prequel series is set to premiere on Disney+ on April 22, 2025. This date marks nearly three years since the first season premiered in August 2022, coinciding with the period just after the upcoming Star Wars Celebration event.

The series centers on Cassian Andor (Diego Luna), exploring the years preceding the events of Rogue One. It chronicles his journey to opposing the Empire, eventually becoming a pivotal operative for the Rebel Alliance. Andor has been widely acclaimed as a standout piece of Star Wars media in recent years, and fans now have a date to look forward to for more of the rebel spy’s narrative.

While awaiting the new season, Star Wars fans can delve into the seemingly Goonies-esque series Skeleton Key. Starring Jude Law, the series revolves around a group of kids who stumble upon a spaceship and embark on an adventure. The initial two episodes will be available on Disney+ starting December 3.
