Civilization 7 Set to Arrive on Meta Quest 3 and 3S This Spring

Civilization VII is getting a VR port soon, but it will be exclusively available on Meta’s most recent headsets. Announcements made this weekend confirmed that the franchise’s latest entry will launch on Meta Quest 3 and 3S in Spring 2025. Players will have the flexibility to “freely switch” between virtual and mixed reality modes according to their preferences. According to the release:

In virtual reality, players are taken to an ornate museum where they can view a vista personalized to their leader; in mixed reality, the Command Table adjusts to its placement within the player’s physical environment. Detailed dioramas can be examined in The Archives, a museum room dedicated to showcasing gameplay achievements in both virtual and mixed reality.

There’s no specific release date or pricing details yet, but you can add it to your wishlist on the Meta Horizon Store. Civilization VII recently became available for Advanced Access buyers on PC and consoles, with initial reviews being somewhat challenging. It will be accessible to everyone else on February 11.
