What Are the Engine Specifications and Horsepower?

The Ford F-Series pickup is recognized as one of two Ford production models that can receive the Super Snake upgrades from Shelby. Historically, the Super Snake badge was exclusively for the top-tier Mustang GT500, but in 2015, the naturally aspirated 5.0-liter Coyote V8 in the Mustang GT became the standard choice for the Super Snake package. Shelby American Inc. offers the Super Snake conversion exclusively for the Mustang and F-150. The 2025 Shelby F-150 Super Snake begins as a standard F-150 Lariat 4×4 SuperCrew equipped with a 5.0-liter Coyote V8, which has a base output of 400 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque. However, if you invest an extra $62,000 for the Shelby F-150 Super Snake Package (in addition to the base truck’s $77,000), you can opt for the available supercharger system to enhance power output to 785 horsepower (when using 93 octane gas).

While the F-150 Super Snake might not match the power of the 830-horsepower Shelby Mustang Super Snake, its 785 horsepower makes it one of the most powerful Shelby vehicles ever. This power is supported by Shelby performance enhancements, including an open-air intake with a carbon intake tube, an aluminum heat exchanger, racing fuel injectors, a billet throttle body, and a Shelby by Borla cat-back exhaust system (with black exhaust tips) to deliver that signature, robust soundtrack.

Iconic Shelby Style

The Super Snake’s identity is largely about its race-ready style and performance. You won’t have to worry about appearance or street credibility when driving a Shelby F-150 Super Snake. It features a Shelby by Ridetech suspension system, incorporating Fox 2.5 adjustable coilover dampers with internal bypass technology and updated upper control arms at the front. At the rear, it includes Fox adjustable shock absorbers and new track bars to stabilize the truck as you unleash 785 horsepower on the road.

The styling enhancements encompass 22-inch Shelby alloy wheels encased in performance tires, a Shelby dual intake hood with vents and extractors, power running boards with entry lights and rock guards, body-color fender flares, a custom upper grille, a new front bumper, a body-colored tonneau cover, and those iconic Shelby body stripes.

The Super Snake package also encompasses the F-150’s interior. The additions include deeply tinted windows (subject to state laws), embroidered floor mats, billet racing pedals, carbon fiber interior trim, and a serialized console plaque. The price for the Shelby F-150 Super Snake starts at approximately $139,000.
