Clean Up Shrek’s World in PowerWash Simulator

There are numerous Shrek movies, yet none have addressed this intriguing question: Who tidies up the aftermath when the ogre and his fellow fairytale foes finish battling? With Square Enix’s PowerWash Simulator, we finally get our answer.

In an exciting collaboration, Dreamworks and Square Enix have introduced the Shrek Special Pack DLC for PowerWash Simulator, now available on all consoles and PC. This new pack brings a host of scenarios inspired by the iconic animated films, along with some new armor and tools to aid in cleaning up the various layers of grime across Shrek’s world.

This new DLC pack introduces five new locations in need of power washing. Among them are Shrek’s home swamp, the town of Duloc with its charming wind-up information booth, the Fairy Godmother’s potion factory, the dragon’s lair, and Hansel’s delicious Honeymoon Hideaway featuring the Shreks’ onion wedding carriage.

The Shrek Special Pack also includes a new campaign mode that navigates you through these new settings, equipping you with a set of knight-themed power washing armor and hoses. You’ll receive messages from “some familiar faces,” possibly even from the illustrious Muffin Man. (The Muffin Man!) Yes, the Muffin Man! (Although, probably not, as he isn’t much of an ancillary character in the Shrek universe beyond his nursery rhyme mention in the first movie.)

One of the exciting aspects of PowerWash Simulator is the audacity shown with its DLC packs. Square Enix has designed special cleaning scenarios based on Back to the Future, Tomb Raider, and Final Fantasy. The developers have been engaged in creating so many cleaning challenges that they accidentally released it to players on Steam.
